Understanding Scarletlights

24 January 2009 135 views 3 Comments

I’ve been thinking recently on how I should write at least a guide on how to use Scarletlights.  It’s not that difficult but some might not be able to find their way around it.  Therefore, to highlight some of the few points I have included in the picture guide.  Here goes:

  1. The Navigation bar above this post area shows you “Home” – “About” – “Add a Blog” pages, if you were thinking of adding a blog, a story one, whether it’s love or non-love I’ll get an email with the link and I’ll check it out and grab the posts from it and add it to this site.  So all in all it depends on when I get to see the sites, and afterwards it’s a one step process.
  2. The “Headline” area is basically where I will post these articles in, stuff either about the site itself, or perhaps in the future a profile/interview with some of our talented writers, of course everyone will maintain their anonymity and I am not going to be looking to jeapordize that, but I just thought others might want to know how such beautiful pieces are written.
  3. The “Browse Categories” basically my categories, the ones I can post in, and who knows pretty soon I might want to have some co-authors or co-editors in this blog, so eventually we will have a semi-literary circle.
  4. The Feeds, your posts, the wonderfully talented writers, the posts that are syndicated through my blog so everyone can check what’s new.  It’s so much easier this way and it’s like your one stop to knowing what’s new.
  5. The Sidebar, finally, that’s the most self-explanatory bit, it contains some things there and if you guys have any suggestions as to what else to have it include don’t forget to just drop me an email :)

And that my friends is a sumarrization of what is included in the image.  One thing however that I wanted to ask, is that all participating bloggers, if you wouldn’t mind just emailing me your email addresses and heading over to www.gravatar.com and creating yourself a gravatar that way, if you saw how my posts now will include my avatar picture, I want the same to be done to your posts.  That way it’s more fun to just check out some pictures of our authors :)  So what do you say.

Anyways, enjoy my dearies, I love you alls :*

lets hope us girls stick together and enjoy reading eachother’s stories without the nosiness of trying to find out who’s who’s and each others busniness, its not who the person is, its the content and what the person says.. Take care my honeies mwah mwah! more daring stuff to come..

Scarlet Lights, I was wondering if you could publish my blog here. I am a new blogger trying to get the word out on my blog and I am not sure how to do so, any help would be great. I would love for the world to read about my story and about the truth.

    love ;**
