Um Mishari called Um Hamsa, and I couldn’t be happier. If all goes well inshaAllah ya rub, would that entitle me to a bait bl jannah? :-D

My mom is not so thrilled when she heard the news!
She looked at me with a twisted smile and said: “Glitter Allah ehadaach kan weddi feeha 7g okhoch” !!!

Eee Wallah,
shlon nesait my own brother?!!
I would be double as happy if my brother and Hamsa hooked up!

But nooo,
they are like brother and sister,
it wouldn’t have worked…

But that wasn’t enough for me.

Hamsa is beautiful alright there’s no denying that. But for me, a big part of her charm is her voice, the way she speaks, and the way she carries herself during a conversation. You can’t help but get sucked in when you hear sowalifha, and the witty remarks she says are bound to make you giggle. There’s never a dull moment when you are in her company.

I asked X earlier to tell Mishari to come say hi, but he refused. Madri if Mishari ohwa elly esta7a willa X is just being 7achir!

Anyhoo,

he saw her and that’s it.

I know he would fall for her. I know he would. How could he not? But I have to hear it from him. Yallah meta ilverdict? When will he call and end my suffering?!!!!

Now on a completely different note:

The only mosalsal that i’m following this Ramadan is “Om ilBanat“, and that’s only because of its timing.

I can’t tell you how Sherifa qahratni. Ako a7ad ye7eb chethe le darajat inna they lose their selves completely for the sake of other?

You know, Sherifa reminds me a little of my mother, as my mom wayed t7oof oboy and tends to do things for my father that are beyond the call of duty. Even X noticed that and he always tells me that he wishes that I would be more like my mother.

My God! .. I swear X sometimes treats me as a child, eshda3wa ya3ni I know what to say, efffffff…

I nod my head: “Ok ok“, and wait for her to pick up.

“Aloo“, Hamsa answers in her sweet little voice.

“Hala 7beebti, shlonich shakhbarich ?? “
“Hala GG, i’m fine il7amdlellah, you? “

And before I can stop myself: “Waaaii Hamsoo sektay, refeej X wants to see you“….

I can see X with the corner of my eyes shaking his head left and right..

“Shino shino? “, Hamsa is shocked. “Detailed details pls“

And I proceed to tell her the whole story, and conclude it with:
“Now we have to take you somewhere where he can see you, but surely you have to act as though you know nothing“.

Now that we have set the time, and place. We have to pick the clothes. I have to approve the outfit and the whole look.

We agreed on a yellow short dress, the color is amazing against her beautiful bronzed skin tone. Light makeup: some maskara and a bit of kohl, rosy cheeks, and lip gloss. Hair: Au Natural- silky straight, hits just below the jaw-line.

Oh I know Mishari will just love her, who wouldn’t ?! ;-)

I’m watching Bab il7ara, 7ad il indimaaj, sitting in my favourite spot on the sofa, all curled up and covered in a little blanket, when X comes in.

“Hala 7beebii“, I say absently. My eyes fixed on the screen.

“Glitter babe, 3indy lich salfa“, he says.

“Ok 7abeebi, can it wait till the commercial time? “

“Glitteeeeer“, and he stands between me and the TV, “Come one..!! “

I look up at him, and there’s a twinkle in his eyes. Hmmmm shakelha salfa ma tet6awwaf. I’m intrigued. I pat the space right next to me to invite him over. He comes and sits next to me, all smiles and says the following:

“Mishari wants to get married“
And I couldn’t help but squeel with delight..

Mishari is one of X’s close friends, and I simply adooore him. He has a strong well-toned body that is in sharp contrast with his doe-eyed baby face.

“Who? when? do I know her? I hope she’s worthy of him…. “

X raises his hand while laughing to stop my ongoing questions.
“The thing is …. ” and he looks me straight in the eyes, “He wants YOU takh6obeen lah“.

“Mee ?!! ” I ask, surprised and flattered at the same time.

“Yes“. X nods, “He told me to ask you, and he said he trusts your judgment, and that he’s sure you’re going to find him a suitable bride “.

Hamsa is my sweet, delicate cousin.
Tall and feminie, sweet and demure. Her hair is soft as silk, and her voice is merely a whisper.
